Produced by Anthony Gonzalez of French dreamrockers M83, this grandiose ballad is where the Killers ' gigantic Eighty pretensions finally beared poof-haired fruit. When Brandon Flowers sings "Gimme a shot at the night" you almost wonder if you're hearing the title track to a Rocky sequel we all somehow forgot existed. The consolation prize for Sonic Youth 's evaporation has been a flurry of cool solo projects, the most surprising being Ranaldo's.
